Savor these Cheesy Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls for a delicious meal that’s easy to prepare. Perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings!
Ingredients
Scale
1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: ½ cup spinach, well-drained
Optional: Diced jalapeños
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. If you’re adding spinach or jalapeños, fold them in at this stage too. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
On a clean surface, unroll the crescent roll dough. Be gentle to avoid tearing. You should see the perforated lines where you can separate the triangles.
Take a generous spoonful of the chicken filling and place it at the wider end of each triangle. Gently roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end to the tip, and pinch the edges to seal the rolls tightly.
Place the stuffed rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in your preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
Once baked, allow them to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
