4 fillets of firm white fish (such as cod, tilapia, or halibut)
1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons of melted butter or olive oil
1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Rinse the fish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, melted butter or olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until you have a thick mixture.
Place the fish fillets in a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Generously distribute the Parmesan mixture over each fillet.
Put the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the topping is golden brown and crispy.
