Ingredients
Scale
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
Salt and pepper to taste
8 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls)
1 cup coleslaw mix
Sliced pineapple (grilled)
Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish
Instructions
In a medium bowl, mix the teriyaki sauce, pineapple juice, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken to the marinade and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 7-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes. Use two forks to shred the chicken or slice it into bite-sized pieces.
Slice the slider buns in half and lightly toast them. Place a portion of shredded chicken on the bottom half of each bun, followed by coleslaw mix and grilled pineapple.
Top each slider with fresh cilantro or green onions, place the top half of the bun on each slider, and serve!
Serve with extra coleslaw or fresh tropical fruit.
Notes
Hawaiian chicken sliders combine tropical flavors with a satisfying crunch, making them a perfect meal for any occasion.
