1 pound ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
1 cup salsa
1 package wonton wrappers
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup sour cream
Sliced jalapenos and scallions for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, then add the taco seasoning and follow package instructions for mixing.
While the meat is cooking, gently press the wonton wrappers into a muffin tin. Spray with cooking oil or brush lightly with melted butter.
Once the meat is seasoned and ready, spoon a generous amount into each wonton cup, filling them about three-quarters full. Top each cup with shredded cheese.
Place your muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the wrappers are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
Carefully remove the cups from the muffin tin. Allow them to cool slightly before adding shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream on top. Garnish each with sliced jalapenos and scallions.
