  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Sliced jalapenos and scallions for garnish

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, then add the taco seasoning and follow package instructions for mixing.
  • While the meat is cooking, gently press the wonton wrappers into a muffin tin. Spray with cooking oil or brush lightly with melted butter.
  • Once the meat is seasoned and ready, spoon a generous amount into each wonton cup, filling them about three-quarters full. Top each cup with shredded cheese.
  • Place your muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the wrappers are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Carefully remove the cups from the muffin tin. Allow them to cool slightly before adding shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream on top. Garnish each with sliced jalapenos and scallions.
