2 cups of water or broth
1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons of olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced

1 cup of heavy cream
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Rinse the Jasmine rice until the water runs clear. In a saucepan, combine the rice and water or broth, bringing it to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cover; simmer for 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp turns pink and opaque.
Reduce heat to medium and pour in heavy cream, stirring to incorporate. Add lemon juice and cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
