  • Once the vegetables are ready, return the chicken to the skillet. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, and thyme. Allow the mixture to simmer on low while the sauce thickens, roughly around 15-20 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven according to the biscuit mix instructions. In a separate bowl, combine the biscuit mix and milk until a dough forms. Drop the dough by the spoonful over the chicken mixture in the skillet.
  • Transfer the skillet directly to the preheated oven, baking for 15-20 minutes until the biscuits rise and turn golden brown.
  • Remove the skillet from the oven. Let it cool slightly and serve warm.
